Thursday 07/05/15

Up around 09.00 and down to vote.

Maybe due to large number of students who were voting for the fist time, we had to queue!

Went to the Fitz to see the Michaelangelo statues then for cheese scones & tea in the sunshine.

Went over to the Grafton & browsed the charity shops - Lou got a nice black dress that she can put over something else. Saw a great sign outside the Red Cross.

Popped into the Hopbine for a pint ("Hurricane" by Buntigford) then over to the Portland (in a rainstorm) as load of load women on next table.

Whilst checking her email Lou found she'd got an interview for Cambridge enterprise on Monday!

Ambled back to the Isaac to plot interview strategy then home for pies that we'd got in Ely - vege one very tasty.

Nice to see Wisteria starting to bloom on the way home.

Turned on the election coverage to the horrifying news that the exit poll predicted a Tory win, the FibDems getting wiped out & Labour getting thrashed by the SNP in Scotland.

Update: turns out the BBC exit poll was right and all the others faecial garbage.
