Didn't do a lot (or anything) as only 1 job for each of us. Had a nice long walk in the sunshine at lunchtime.
A day of good & bad news:
Good
- Jessica passed her viva with only minor corrections
- Helen Morrison's mother died after a long illness
- Kauto Star was put down after suffering injuries to his pelvis & neck in fall
After work went to the Isaac and sat in the sun with Heather & Jim (gave Heather the bag with the yearbooks, the egg cosy book & her beer festival glass). Had a nice time before the girls went inside to have some shade.
Tim turned up later to look at the tea pot to go on a cue. Thinks should be doable.
Had a long chat with him about family etc: Olivia off to Brugge with school, Harry started part-time job (?). Told him & Heather that "The Big Weekend" is on in a few weeks.
