A week without Bruce and predictably it suddenly gets busy!
No photos either in the morning or afternoon deliveries. Called Natalie and there's a load awaiting collection & have been since Thursday. Apparently the UMS wouldn't collect them and are "evaluating collections from PandIS".
Twats!
If you don't want the job I'm sure the University could find plenty of people who'd be happy to do it for you cocksplurts x:¬(
Gave me chance to watch the Tour while printing other shit. Massive, horrific crash about 55Kms out and a lot of riders badly injured. Then there was another big crash straight after. The stage was neutralized and then stopped as they'd run out of medics at the front. Led to lots of abandonments, most notably the Maillot Jaune who got up, finished the stage but then had to pull out with fractured vertabrae.
Cancellara came a cropper in a crash caused in a fall by the FDJ
rider William Bonnet, who lost control of his bike after clipping the
back wheel of the rider in front of him, bringing down nearly two dozen
other riders.Bonnet was a real mess. having tumbled along the road and ended in a neck brace. As well as Bonnet, who also suffered fractured vertebrae,
Orica-GreenEdge rider Simon Gerrans, Giant-Alpecin’s Tom Dumoulin and
Team Katusha’s Dmitry Kozontchuk were also forced to abandon. One rider (Laurens ten Dam ?) had his dislocated shoulder pushed back in in the road. Most of the injured got back up and cycled on. Tough bastards these cyclists.
Pictures of the Aftermath
To the Architect for a change. Filled Lou in about all the above & she told me about A's divorce.
To the Isaac where old chap asked me which was the bitterest bitter, a question I'd never been asked before.
