Tuesday 17/03/15

Went to PandIS for the day. Spent all morning packing leaflets into folders.

Apart, that is from the fiasco that was the audio test. Got there 5-6 minutes before the appointment and was still there at 11.10. Finally got in a few minutes later to find that the printer was broken & that couldn't find record on the database. Sat in the booth & test on left ear went as normal. Got to right ear & low frequencies worked fine then it stopped. After a jiggling of the connections it worked a bit: did 1st of high frequencies & then stopped again. After profuse apologies for sporadically working machinery was told that they'll have to make another appointment in 'a couple of months'.

Back to work where found Phil had a client in at 14.00 and then he was off to RNB for SMTP debrief (ie muggins had to do all the packing solo again).

Finally finished packing & getting 5 of the cages downstairs at 14.45, leaving 1 cage upstairs with space for lights when Natalie had finished with them. Also had to put tables in a cage due to a rather sticky surface (hopefully pop & not spunk).

Over to Quinn's for our annual pint of black stuff to toast those we've lost. Had a couple of pints then moved to the Mitre for more before finishing at the Isaac watching Le Arse nearly, but not quite, managing to overturn their cock-up at home. Or, as the tabloids put it 'Crashing Out".

Also watched a comedy penalty shootout between Atlético Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen (Madrid through 3-2 after 5 shots each).

Away from all that:

i) got 2 tweets from Margaretha on Vanuatu. She's safe and she's OK.

ii) David Duckenfield FINALLY admitted that he was responsible for ordering the gate opened and was responsible for the deaths of 96 people. And responsible for lying about his actions and seeking to shift the blame the fans for drunken behaviour.

Utter, utter, lying CUNT!
