Fist up was Richard Hey who needed 50 handouts for Wednesday. Predictably the heap-of-shit colour machine immediately broke down.
Then there were loads of prints for MSM. The mono machine promptly started printing light accross the top of the page.
Two engineers were called in.
Talked to Sue about booking VC suite and she mentioned that she'd seen a document saying we needed to find £0.5-£1M to move PandIS to RNB (building an annexe) as Cockcroft was being demolished in 2 years time. Also that Engineering were due to move to RNB in 5 years. Sue didn't write this, Phil didn't know anything & apparently it came as news to Steve R too! Steve went off to find out who did write it.
As Sue pointed out his would also affect VC Suite, the teaching rooms, the NMS helpdesk and the special exams.
Also some wee shite dropped off a job for booklets for his club never bothering to check whether we could do it. Wanted colour: Hahahaha. Changed to Mono: Hahahaha.
Once the mono was fixed I got some of the printing for Megan done.
Met Lou at the bottom of Lady Margaret Road and went to Aldi for cat food. Thence to the Isaac so Lou could pay Dick for Friday (+ to lust after the delicious Poppy).
Made haggis & pasta (with a stock cube in water for moisture) for tea.
Somehow managed to hurt my foot today as well. No idea how.
