Least shocking news ever

In news that will surprise precisely no on, Johnson was cleared of wrongdoing by the bloke (a baron no less) he appointed to investigate his wrongdoing.

But Geidt's report also raises new questions.

Johnson claimed in parliament that he'd paid for the redecoration 'in full'. The Baron investigating said that Johnson didn't know who paid the bill.

So how did this mystery donor know he hadn't paid? How did they know who was due money? If the Albino BinGibbon didn't know who paid for his curtains etc how could he pay them back?

Still a member of the establishment clearing a fellow member of the elite, will make forelock-tugging wankers across the country breathe a sigh of relief that all is well in the paradise that is Albion once more.

Cummings testimony

Thinking over Cummings evidence I don't think we learnt anything that we didn't already know or suspect. He put flesh on the bones but the skeleton has been evident to all who cared to look.

Eg. We know that Johnson is an incompetent oaf who didn't take the warnings and evidence in other countries seriously. We knew about patients being decanted into care homes without testing, seeding the virus. We knew 'herd immunity' was the policy. We know about the lack of any kind of plan for a pandemic. We know that the lack of PPE was a disaster waiting to happen to health professionals.

It was also risible that DC said Johnson was infit to be leader & that it had come down to a choice between him and Corbyn was an indictment of our system. This from the man who did so much to get him fucking elected in 2019!

The flood

Thought: If the biblical flood wiped out all life from the face of the earth, apart from the inhabitants of a large boat (as religious nutbags would have us believe), how come we still have trees and lettuce and stuff?

Does lettuce prosper under water for 40+ days? What about onions? Or potatoes?

Brexit & the Indian Variant

The current shitstorm partly stems from Brexit, specifically Johnson & his role in that ongoing omniclusterfuck.

Johnson fought on the side of leave because he calculated it advanced his chances of being PM.

Because of his promises (ie lies) + his total inability to read anything more demanding than the Beano, he fucked the country's trade up.

Because of that, he was desperate for a big trade deal with India to prove his rhetoric wasn't just hogwash.

Because of that, he kept India off the red list. Because he didn't want to upset Modi & ruin the deal.

Because of that, when finally bowed to the inevitable, he allowed people another 96 hours to come here.

Because of that, there was a rush of people coming from the sub-continent.

This is 100% his fault & stems from the man he was in 2016 & his unchanged nature since then.
