Lockdown

It's the first anniversary of the first lockdown.

At least 126,000 dead in this country alone, billions siphoned off to cronies and the end is still years away. #lockdownanniversary

Sturgeon cleared

I wonder if the Tories (on both sides of the Hadrian's Wall) & their quisling collaborators are wondering today if they've made a major strategic blunder?

Not only did they fail to bring down Nicola Sturgeon, they've both empowered her & made another independence vote more likely.

And they could lose this one!

Even if it's only advisory (like the 2016 one), it'll be a major headache for Caesar Arsgustus: reject it & he'll have no right to criticise others for ignoring democratic mandates (imagine how China & Russia will frame it).

Accept it and he'll have to tell the woman he lied to that her favourite holiday home will be in another country.

Either way he goes down in history as the man who shat on a country's electorate or as the man who oversaw the break-up of the union.

Vaccine dates

Got text with invitation for jabbing.

Went through the process &, ludicrously, the nearest centre was the Grafton centre.

Despite there being a centre literally just round the corner & where Lou has her 1st dose!

Booked in for 24/03/21 for 1st stabbing & 14/06/21.

Update: several days later I got one from the Drs saying I could go round the corner. Decided to stay with the booking I'd made already.

Running scared of a Scottish Terrier

The fact that the Nicola Sturgeon debacle is wall to wall TV across the country, tells you how much of a threat she poses to the right wing and the Tories, including those in Westminster.

But what if Sturgeon comes out of this stronger than ever?

Far-right scumbags are already running scared of her & a strengthened SNP could lead to full-scale rout of the neo-nazi bawbags in May plus a mandate for independence.

Conversely, if she has to go that could be a fatal blow to the cause. Will Alex Salmond go down as the man who defeated the cause he's spent his life on twice?
